This role is at the heart of KONE’s mission to make people’s lives easier through safe, efficient, and high-quality service. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment safety and performance, handling preventive maintenance, and providing prompt customer service. You will play a key role in ensuring operational reliability, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and proactive communication.

• Provide accurate and real-time reporting of work performed.

• Ensure equipment safety, identify risks, and escalate issues as required.

• Recognize and recommend unplanned service repairs.

Service Operations

• Carry out maintenance and repair tasks in compliance with safety instructions.

• Execute scheduled service visits, callouts, and repairs within set timelines and quality standards.

• Keep service tools, vehicles, and instruments in proper condition.

• Submit timely timesheets and back reports.

• Regularly update supervisors on site conditions, risks, and work progress.

Requirements

• ITI/Vocational Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation streams (or equivalent).

• 2–5 years of experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting with a reputed elevator company.

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

• Basic IT and digital foundation skills preferred.

• Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence.
