A leading organization in the meat processing industry is hiring a Maintenance Manager for their Sharjah-based plant. This on-site, full-time role involves overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance of production lines to maximize productivity, reduce downtime, and manage maintenance costs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure high plant productivity.

• Collaborate with production to achieve daily production goals.

• Monitor and control maintenance expenses, keeping them within budget.

• Develop and manage relationships with local service providers and suppliers to avoid downtime.

• Approve suppliers, service providers, spare parts, and maintenance schedules.

• Propose facility upgrades and investments to improve operations.

• Prepare RFP documents for project bidding.

• Collaborate with HSEQ to enhance plant standards.

• Maintain accurate documentation aligned with regulatory requirements.

• Ensure compliance with SOPs, Quality, Food Safety, and Halal Standards.

• Resolve maintenance-related customer complaints in coordination with the Quality Department.

• Coordinate with HR to fill vacancies and support team development.

• Coach team members for performance and development.

• Maintain optimal spare parts inventory, avoiding excess or shortages.

• Product Complaints (machine-related)

• Maintenance Expenses (Actual vs. Budgeted)

• Conversion Cost Maintenance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech.)

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role within a meat processing environment

• Strong expertise in maintenance operations, cost control, and team leadership

• Understanding of food safety and regulatory standards is essential
