MAPYR FZCO is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist – Imports & Exports to join their dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, and supporting cross-border trade operations. This role requires close collaboration with freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal departments to guarantee seamless logistics execution.

You will play a vital role in optimizing supply chain processes, negotiating freight rates, managing customs clearances, and maintaining accurate shipment tracking across the UAE and the wider GCC region, including KSA and Egypt. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate sea freight purchase orders with freight forwarders and suppliers to ensure timely loading and dispatch.

• Negotiate sea freight rates from Europe and China, aligning with KPI targets.

• Analyze logistics costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.

• Manage Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) performance to meet logistics KPIs.

• Collaborate with the clearance team to ensure timely customs clearance, avoiding demurrage or storage charges.

• Validate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), resolve discrepancies with the planning team.

• Prepare weekly shipment status reports and monthly logistics updates (freight performance, OTP, container fill rate).

• Manually update ETA details in the ERP system for accuracy.

Outbound Coordination:

• Lead weekly meetings with sales and 3PL teams to review ongoing orders.

• Monitor delivery performance against Sales Order ETAs.

• Ensure timely booking of import shipments to meet delivery schedules.

• Liaise with 3PL partners for accurate and timely delivery of customer orders.

Regional Logistics (KSA & GCC):

• Manage replenishment orders for the KSA market in coordination with the E-commerce team.

• Track shipments and coordinate with freight forwarders for GCC and Egypt markets.

• Ensure proper documentation and approval processes before dispatch.

Free Zone Operations:

• Manage cargo movements within Free Zones, including transfers, re-exports, labeling, and repackaging.

• Ensure compliance with Free Zone regulations (JAFZA, DMCC, DAFZA, etc.).

• Liaise with Free Zone authorities to resolve operational issues.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in logistics, import/export operations, or international trade.

• Familiarity with UAE/GCC customs regulations.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel essential); ERP or logistics software knowledge is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
