GE Vernova is hiring a Logistics Coordinator – MEASA to manage and execute transportation plans, shipment tracking, and logistics operations across the region. The role involves coordinating with supply chain teams, ensuring timely deliveries, monitoring carrier performance, and driving continuous improvement in logistics processes. This position requires a strong understanding of transportation planning, supply chain operations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Logistics Project Manager and supply chain teams on transportation and shipment planning.

• Maintain logistics plans, freight estimates, and accurate cost tracking.

• Optimize orders and shipments through TMS and client-provided tools.

• Ensure compliance with routing guides and carrier service execution.

• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external carriers to meet service levels.

• Monitor ERP, TMS, and project systems to ensure data synchronization.

• Identify transportation capacity gaps and collaborate with the planning team for solutions.

• Support carrier performance management, reporting, and improvement initiatives.

• Review contracts, manage project set-up, and oversee expediated shipping instructions.

• Ensure on-time pick-up and delivery while tracking KPIs.

• Handle vessel RFQs, rate negotiations, and billing accuracy.

• Identify and manage out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo requirements.

• Report damaged freight and enforce EHS compliance.

• Provide proactive communication and problem-solving for routing and shipment tracking.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Engineering, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management.

• At least 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain-related functions.

• Strong knowledge of transportation planning, supply chain drivers, and KPIs.

• Experience with Transportation Management Software (TMS) preferred.

• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, warehouses, and logistics providers.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage quick-turn projects.

• Comfortable working in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
