Our multinational civil contracting client is seeking a Construction Logistics Coordinator to join their project delivery team in Dubai. This role will focus on managing site logistics for a new-build project, ensuring efficient movement of labor, materials, and equipment, and supporting the smooth execution of construction operations.

This is an immediate requirement available on an initial 3–6 month contract, employed through J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of labor, equipment, and materials to and from project sites.

• Assist in preparing and implementing logistics strategic plans.

• Monitor site logistics and provide feedback on delivery approaches.

• Support logistics planning, including:

  • Site setup and movement planning (hoarding, access gates, security, cranes, hoists, welfare facilities, etc.).

  • Traffic management, material delivery scheduling, and waste management strategy.

  • Workforce transport, drop-off and collection points, and accommodation.

• Develop and maintain internal and external logistics routes during project phases.

• Ensure safe separation of vehicles, machinery, and workers in line with HSE standards.

• Coordinate with site teams on crane, hoist, and equipment operations.

• Contribute to improving site logistics processes and adopting new technologies.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction logistics on mid-to-large-scale new-build projects.

• Strong operational experience with recognised main contractors in the UAE.

• Ability to plan and coordinate logistics across multiple phases of construction.

• Strong problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, and process improvement mindset.

• Excellent communication, persuasion, and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with new technologies and ability to support digital adoption in logistics management.
