🔧 Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Lifting Supervisor for a high-profile high-rise construction project in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and ensuring the safe execution of all lifting activities on-site, in accordance with LEEA standards and UAE safety regulations.

This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential to transition to a full-time staff role after 6 months based on performance and mutual agreement.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute safe and efficient lifting operations on-site in compliance with UAE laws and international best practices.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety controls to prevent incidents during lifting operations.

• Monitor the condition, inspection, and maintenance of lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists, slings, etc.

• Lead and train riggers and crane operators, enforcing strict adherence to lifting protocols.

• Develop and review detailed lift plans, calculating loads, rigging configurations, and equipment requirements.

• Coordinate lifting activities with other trades on-site to avoid delays and ensure workflow efficiency.

• Record and investigate lifting incidents or near misses, and implement corrective safety actions.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection logs, permits, lift plans, and safety checklists.

• Report regularly to the Project Manager with updates, risks, and mitigation strategies.

✅ Candidate Requirements

• Mandatory:

  • LEEA Certification or equivalent in Lifting Supervision

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in lifting operations, preferably in high-rise construction

  • In-depth knowledge of cranes, rigging gear, load charts, and safe lifting procedures

  • Strong understanding of UAE safety regulations related to lifting operations

• Preferred:

  • Valid UAE driving license

  • Previous experience with tier-1 contractors in the GCC

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills

  • Ability to analyze lifting challenges and provide practical, safe solutions
