Role Overview:

We are looking for a qualified Lifting Inspector with strong technical knowledge and a background in mechanical engineering. You will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and certifying lifting and handling equipment, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment (elevators, cranes, hoists, etc.)

• Prepare accurate and timely inspection reports

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and legal regulations

• Deliver excellent customer service through effective communication and timely service delivery

• Continuously monitor performance, update technical standards, and comply with all federal decrees and safety protocols

Minimum Qualifications:

📘 Education:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

🛠️ Certifications / Training:

• LEEA Certification or equivalent diploma in Lifting Equipment Inspection

• Training in:

  • Inspection of Equipment in Hazardous Areas (Zone II)

  • NDT (NDE) techniques

  • H2S, Breathing Apparatus, Basic Firefighting, First Aid

  • Offshore/Sea Survival

💼 Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in lifting equipment inspection & certification (for Lifting Surveyor)

• Minimum 10 years for Senior Lifting Surveyor roles

Technical & Behavioral Competencies:

• Solid understanding of lifting equipment mechanics and operations

• Familiarity with federal legal requirements and quality standards

• Strong reporting and documentation skills
