Job Title: Lift Technician 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Lift Technician to join our team. The role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators, escalators, and other lift systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and repair elevators, escalators, and various lift systems

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment safety and optimal performance

• Respond promptly to service breakdowns and emergency repair calls

• Ensure all work meets industry regulations, manufacturer specifications, and safety standards

• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

• Communicate clearly with clients, supervisors, and team members

• Order, replace, and install faulty or worn-out components

• Stay up to date with technical training and certifications

• Strictly follow safety procedures including use of PPE and lockout/tagout protocols

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or vocational training in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in elevator/lift installation and maintenance

• Solid understanding of lift system components, including motors, controllers, and hydraulics

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics

• Physically fit and comfortable working in confined or elevated spaces
