IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to join the team at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa. The role is focused on ensuring guest safety at the pool and beach areas while providing exceptional service in a professional and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pool, beach, and surrounding areas to ensure guest safety.

• Enforce safety regulations while maintaining a courteous demeanor.

• Respond promptly to emergencies, performing first aid or CPR when required.

• Monitor water quality and report maintenance issues.

• Ensure pool and beach equipment, signage, and safety gear are in proper condition.

• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of poolside and beach areas.

• Assist in guest recreation activities, sun loungers, towels, and amenities setup.

• Deliver excellent guest service and contribute to an enjoyable resort experience.

Skills & Requirements:

• Valid Lifeguard certification (UAE recognized or international).

• First Aid and CPR certification required.

• Previous experience as a lifeguard in a hotel, resort, or beach club preferred.

• Strong swimming ability and physical fitness.

• Calm, alert, and professional in emergency situations.

• Service-oriented with excellent communication skills.

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
