Aldar Education is seeking a qualified Lifeguard to join the team at Al Ain British Academy for the 2025–2026 academic year. This full-time, on-site position supports the PE department and ensures the safety and smooth operation of all poolside activities in line with Aldar’s high operational and health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain full supervision of the swimming pool and users during sessions

• Perform and record pool checks before and after lessons; report maintenance needs

• Ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors poolside

• Follow the Pool Safety Operating Procedures (PSOP), including EAP and NOP

• Assist teachers and coaches with administrative and customer service tasks

• Set up, inspect, and safely manage swimming equipment

• Participate in monthly training to stay current on rescue, safety, and HSE protocols

• Support the PE department with non-pool related tasks and school events when needed

• Report operational concerns to management promptly

Job Requirements:

• Qualification: DAC certified lifeguard or equivalent (EIAC ADQCC)

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of lifeguarding experience

• Skills:

  • Proficient swimmer

  • Fluent in spoken and written English

  • Physically fit to work outdoors

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

  • Flexible, professional, and proactive approach
