LEAMS Education is looking for an experienced and passionate School Librarian to join our team immediately. This role requires a dedicated professional who can manage a modern school library, foster a love for reading, integrate technology into learning, and support both students and teachers with high-quality educational resources. Candidates on a spouse visa are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Library Management & Organization

• Maintain an updated and accessible collection of books, e-resources, and reference materials.

• Develop and implement library policies, procedures, and borrowing systems.

• Classify, catalog, and label all new materials according to library standards.

• Keep the library welcoming, organized, and conducive to learning.

• Assist students in developing research and information literacy skills.

• Support teachers by providing instructional resources aligned with the curriculum.

• Guide students in using library databases and digital learning tools.

Technology & Digital Resources

• Maintain and update digital library systems, including e-books and online research tools.

• Teach students to access and evaluate digital information effectively.

• Integrate technology into library services to support modern learning methods.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or related field.

• OR Bachelor’s/Master’s in English with experience in teaching and managing a library.

• Proven school librarian experience, preferably within the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of library management systems and digital research tools.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional command of English.

• Familiarity with UAE educational policies and curriculum is an advantage.
