CDHORIZON FZE is seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Legal Manager to lead and manage the legal functions of its operations across the UAE and Oman. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a legal professional with expertise in contract law, commercial risk assessment, and corporate compliance. Prior experience in the heavy machinery, construction, or leasing sectors is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Drafting & Review

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents, ensuring adherence to local and international legal standards.

  • Conduct commercial and contractual risk assessments for RFPs and provide legal input during the pre-tendering phase.

• Legal Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure business practices comply with UAE and Oman laws.

  • Identify and mitigate legal risks; align legal strategies with company objectives.

  • Streamline internal procedures to promote compliance and operational efficiency.

• Employment & Corporate Legal Support

  • Advise the HR department on employment contracts and legal matters.

  • Support regulatory compliance and corporate governance initiatives.

• Project & Business Legal Advisory

  • Participate in project management with legal perspectives to reduce risk.

  • Conduct legal research for jurisdictions where the company is active or expanding.

  • Enhance contracting processes and update legal documentation templates.

• External Legal Coordination

  • Liaise with external legal firms for disputes, litigation, or regulatory issues.

  • Provide legal representation and support in the UAE and Oman as required.

• Additional Duties

  • Perform legal tasks as assigned by the line manager or compliance department.

  • Travel when necessary to provide on-site legal support.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); certifications in corporate law or compliance are a plus.

• Proven experience as a Lawyer or Legal Manager, ideally in relevant industries.

• In-depth knowledge of UAE and Oman legal frameworks, including contract law and corporate governance.

• Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal risk assessment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• UAE driver’s license preferred.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.
