AW Rostamani Group is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide expert legal guidance and strategic support. The role involves ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks, drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on corporate governance, and managing disputes. The legal counsel will work closely with the Chief Legal Officer on corporate, commercial, and compliance matters, while contributing to the business’s strategic decision-making and protecting its interests.

Key Responsibilities:

⚖️ Legal Advice – Provide accurate legal guidance to senior leadership on corporate and commercial matters.
📑 Contract Management – Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts.
💼 Corporate/Commercial Transactions – Involved in M&A, restructuring, JVs, and distribution transactions.
💡 Strategic Support – Work closely with the Chief Legal Officer to develop and implement department strategies.
🔍 Dispute Management – Handle legal disputes and issues affecting business operations.
🔐 Compliance – Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including anti-money laundering and anti-bribery.

Skills & Experience Required:

🎓 Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree in Law.
📚 Experience – 2-5 years of legal experience, with a background in corporate/commercial law.
🏢 Corporate/Commercial Experience – Experience in handling commercial transactions and compliance matters.
⚖️ Law Firm Background – Prior experience in an international law firm is a must.
💼 Common Law Qualification – Candidates must be Common Law qualified.
