Kings’ School Dubai Inclusion Team, promoted via TES FE News, is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant – Intervention (LSA) to join their outstanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate, innovative, and supportive educators who can make a real impact in children’s learning and development.

The role involves providing targeted interventions, supporting classroom learning, and contributing to the wellbeing and inclusion of students. Candidates will play a key role in adapting resources, delivering phonics sessions, and developing strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children’s learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 curriculum.

• Adapt planning and resources to meet individual needs.

• Deliver a range of interventions, including class, group, and 1:1 phonics sessions (Read Write Inc programme).

• Develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Attend parent meetings and contribute to IEPs.

• Support pastoral care and wellbeing of students.

• Manage a range of behaviour needs effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or high school certificate.

• Previous experience as an Inclusion Learning Support Assistant.

• Strong knowledge of EYFS, KS1, or KS2 curriculum.

• Excellent understanding of phonics (especially Read Write Inc).

• Flexible, innovative, and enthusiastic approach to learning support.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
