Job Purpose:

The Learning & Development Manager will drive training, development, and organizational transformation to enhance team capabilities and ensure world-class hospitality standards at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah. The role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and expertise in learning & development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and evaluate training programs to develop functional excellence and leadership skills.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and recommend learning solutions to bridge skill gaps.
  • Manage learning & development budgets, training calendars, and annual training plans.
  • Lead onboarding programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
  • Develop individual and team career development plans in collaboration with department heads.
  • Coach managers on leadership development and team training.
  • Align training initiatives with performance management processes.
  • Establish partnerships with hospitality schools to attract top talent through internship programs.
  • Act as a change catalyst to drive cultural and organizational transformation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in luxury hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of modern learning techniques, training tools, and instructional design.
  • Excellent people management, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience in executing Forbes hospitality standards is a plus.
