A distinguished government organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking a UAE National for a field-based Lead Supervisor role focused on marine protected area (MPA) management. The position oversees marine environmental monitoring and enforcement operations to ensure compliance with biodiversity laws and conservation protocols while supporting rangers in patrols and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily monitoring patrols to ensure compliance with marine environmental and biodiversity regulations.

• Oversee enforcement of laws within MPAs, taking timely action on violations.

• Coordinate with authorities and biodiversity sections for effective conservation.

• Prepare legal and technical reports on conservation outcomes and enforcement activities.

• Engage with stakeholders, including local and federal government organizations.

• Support restoration projects and sustainable marine tourism initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with international guidelines (IUCN, UNESCO).

• Train and supervise rangers to strengthen enforcement and monitoring capacity.

• Support emergency response and business continuity during environmental crises.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in marine biodiversity, conservation, or enforcement.

• Strong knowledge of biodiversity laws, compliance, and enforcement practices.

• UAE Nationals only.
