Subsea7 is seeking an experienced Lead SCM Engineer to join its Dubai office on a full-time staff basis. This role is pivotal in overseeing procurement activities for Oil & Gas projects, particularly focusing on forged items, weld overlay (WOL) scope, and line pipe materials. The successful candidate will ensure procurement processes align with technical, safety, budgetary, and contractual requirements, while supporting both local and global supply chain strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for complex engineered materials and services.

• Coordinate with Engineering, QA, QC, and HSE to ensure requirements are included in tender documents.

• Lead RFQs, bid clarifications, and commercial negotiations through SAP Ariba.

• Finalize subcontract documents and ensure approval processes are followed.

• Oversee pre-award, award, and post-award procurement phases.

• Monitor supplier strategies, execution risks, and PO convergence plans.

• Coordinate audits, supplier documentation, technical queries, and logistics.

• Validate invoices, ensure project close-out, and lead lessons learned reporting.

• Promote HSEQ culture and compliance with anti-bribery and corruption regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• 15+ years of Supply Chain Management experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

• Strong knowledge of Aramco SCM processes and approved suppliers.

• Expertise in procurement of forged items, weld overlay, and piping components.

• Proficiency in SAP/S4HANA and RFQ management.

• Understanding of technical discussions with ability to assess commercial/schedule impacts.

• Strong cost-consciousness and ability to challenge requirements.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and deadline-driven mindset.
