Rejlers, a Nordic engineering consultancy, is seeking a Lead Engineer, Civil with Construction Management experience to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This full-time, on-site role involves overseeing the successful execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with safety, budget, schedule, and quality standards. The position requires expertise in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Chemical industries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years’ experience, including at least 8 years in a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Arrangement & Accessibility: Conduct site studies to optimize jobsite accessibility.

• Progress Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on field activities.

• Project Scheduling: Contribute to project schedule development and ensure alignment with construction phases.

• Cost Estimation & Risk Assessment: Develop project budgets, assess risks, and provide cost analysis.

• Technical Solutions & Supervision: Provide technical advice, oversee construction, and ensure high safety standards.

• Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the construction team, ensuring progress and quality.

• Feasibility Studies & Proposals: Conduct feasibility studies and prepare bids.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• QHSE Management: Enforce quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, and at least 8 years in a lead role.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other CAD tools.

• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of HSE standards, work permits, and safety procedures.

• Expertise in project management techniques, environmental engineering, and constructability reviews.

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and conduct extensive site surveys.

• UAE local experience is a plus.

• Fluent in English.
