Sofitel Dubai Downtown is seeking a Laundry Attendant to manage laundry and dry-cleaning operations in line with hotel standards. The role involves handling textiles, operating laundry machines, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety protocols. The Laundry Attendant will follow laundry flows, maintain records, and contribute to a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laundry and dry-cleaning operations according to hotel procedures.

• Follow linen and uniform laundry cycles and instructions accurately.

• Handle and care for various textiles properly.

• Operate and maintain laundry machines and equipment safely.

• Handle chemicals carefully, adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Report any equipment malfunctions or damage immediately.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in laundry areas and stores.

• Manage lost and found items responsibly.

• Participate in monthly inventories and complete daily checklists.

• Document operations in laundry logbooks and reports.

• Communicate guest comments or complaints promptly.

• Adhere to schedules and deadlines set by management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.

• Good spoken English communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
