ManpowerGroup Middle East is hiring a Lab Associate – Weights & Measures for their Lab Operations team in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role involves executing critical processes that support accurate and timely gem grading services. The candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties across weights & measures, lab inscription, inventory control, and report processing.

Responsibilities:
🔹 Weights & Measures:

• Measure stone weights and proportions with specialized equipment

• Prepare and analyze stones for grading

• Operate gem assessment tools like colorimeters

🔹 Lab Inscription:

• Perform precise stone inscription

• Conduct support tasks like inking, cleaning, and image capture

🔹 Inventory Control:

• Manage the distribution of stones between departments

• Perform inventory reconciliations and secure vault handling

🔹 Report Processing:

• Prepare and verify grading reports

• Coordinate with customer service for scheduling and delivery

• Ensure proper pairing and distribution of stones and reports

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 1+ year of experience in lab, production, or gemology environments (preferred)

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Knowledge of lab SOPs and workflows

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Familiarity with lab tools like tweezers, microscopes, and scales

• Strong communication skills in English

• Analytical thinking and decision-making abilities

• Adaptability in a fast-paced setting
