bp is looking to hire a JV Wells Manager to join its Abu Dhabi Representative Office. This is a full-time, long-term (3-year assignment) role dedicated to managing bp’s wells-related interests in joint ventures (JVs) within the region. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring technical alignment, operational efficiency, and risk management related to wells activity in partnership with ADNOC Group and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent bp in JV wells discussions and manage stakeholder engagement to protect and enhance bp’s interests.

• Ensure well designs, drilling, and intervention activities are fit-for-purpose and aligned with bp standards.

• Provide technical support for performance contracts, cost optimization, and major tender board decisions.

• Collaborate on the development of the NOJV strategy aligned with bp’s regional goals.

• Conduct wells reviews, support technical workshops, and facilitate lessons learned sharing between bp and JV partners.

• Monitor compliance with sustainability frameworks and support JVs in achieving environmental targets.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, including at least 2 years in a shareholder or JV-exposure role.

• Strong experience in wells engineering, operations, and project delivery.

• Excellent understanding of risk assessment, cost management, and performance metrics.

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence JV partners.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with compliance frameworks.
