A reputable company in Dubai is hiring UAE Nationals for the position of Junior Technician across various technical disciplines including mechanical, electrical, automation & control, cooling tower maintenance, chillers, and engines. The role is focused on ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment and systems to ensure optimal operation and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance:

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on plant equipment according to discipline (electrical, mechanical, etc.)

• Notify supervisors of upcoming maintenance requirements for timely corrective actions

Corrective Maintenance:

• Respond to system faults via work orders and perform troubleshooting on-site

• Diagnose and repair issues across electrical, mechanical, and control systems

Role-Specific Duties:

Automation & Control Technician:

• Conduct standard tests to validate instrument operation

• Perform repairs and yearly calibrations as per quality standards

Electrical Technician:

• Conduct cable termination checks and motor meggering

• Inspect electrical parameters (voltage, current, temperature, etc.)

• Clean electrical panels and transformers

Mechanical Technician:

• Verify motor-pump alignment and equipment vibration

• Lubricate equipment and monitor bearing conditions

Cooling Tower Technician:

• Inspect fan blade settings and gearbox-motor alignment

• Monitor and maintain belt tension and lubrication

Chiller Technician:

• Regularly check refrigerant and oil levels, temperature, and pressure

• Detect and repair leaks or replace faulty parts

Engine Technician:

• Monitor engine oil, coolant, and air filters

• Perform minor engine control adjustments and leak inspections

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering

• Minimum 1 year of plant maintenance experience

• Must be a UAE National
