Job Description:

Guildhall is hiring a Junior HFT Developer with a strong background in cryptocurrency trading and low-latency algorithm development. The ideal candidate will develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance trading systems, working closely with senior developers and quantitative traders to enhance trading efficiency and execution speed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HFT algorithms for cryptocurrency markets using C++, Python, or Java.

• Optimize trading system performance to improve latency, throughput, and efficiency.

• Integrate with cryptocurrency exchange APIs (e.g., Binance, Coinbase, Kraken) to access market data and execute trades.

• Analyze market data and contribute to strategy development for trading opportunities.

• Ensure system robustness and performance under extreme market conditions.

• Monitor and troubleshoot live trading environments to maximize efficiency.

• Stay updated on trends in HFT, market microstructure, and cryptocurrency trading.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in cryptocurrency trading and HFT development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or equivalent experience.

• Expertise in C++, Python, or Java with a focus on low-latency programming.

• Strong knowledge of market microstructure, order types, and execution strategies.

• Experience with real-time data processing, multithreading, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with blockchain technology is a plus.
