Dubai Holding Entertainment is hiring a Junior Biologist for The Green Planet. The role involves maintaining animal exhibits, supporting medical care, and engaging with guests to enhance their educational experience. This position requires hands-on experience in animal care and excellent guest service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Represent The Green Planet and Dubai Holding Entertainment, providing a warm and informative guest experience

• Maintain animal exhibits, ensuring cleanliness, proper feeding, and daily enrichment

• Assist Biologists with medical care, LSS monitoring, aquarium cleaning, and animal projects

• Engage with guests during animal encounters, ensuring safety and enhancing educational value

• Maintain accurate records of animal care, daily reports, and assist with operational logistics

• Contribute to improving animal welfare scores and support innovation in animal care and exhibit design

• Participate in training and development to enhance skills

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in animal care, aquariums, or zoological facilities

• Strong guest service orientation and ability to represent The Green Planet effectively

• Hands-on experience with Curatorial and Life Support Systems (LSS) operations

• Knowledge of safety procedures, maintenance, and report preparation

• Excellent communication and listening skills, with a proactive approach to learning
