Mood Media GCC is seeking a motivated Junior AV Presales/CAD Engineer to support the presales department in preparing AV system designs, schematics, drawings, and proposals across corporate, hospitality, retail, and entertainment projects. This role provides exposure to both technical and client-facing aspects of the AV industry, making it ideal for candidates looking to build a strong career foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create AV schematics, system block diagrams, rack layouts, and technical drawings using AutoCAD (Revit/SketchUp knowledge is a plus).

• Assist the presales team in preparing AV system proposals, BOQs, and cost estimates.

• Draft technical documentation, including system descriptions, equipment schedules, and layout drawings.

• Coordinate with senior engineers and sales teams to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

• Conduct product research, gather specifications, and prepare comparative analyses for AV hardware/software solutions.

• Assist in responding to RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents with clear technical documentation.

• Support smooth handover of approved drawings and documentation to project engineers.

• Maintain an updated library of CAD blocks, templates, and AV standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in AV systems design, CAD drafting, or presales engineering (fresh graduates with relevant coursework or internships considered).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); Revit and Visio knowledge is advantageous.

• Strong ability to create AV schematics, system drawings, and layouts.

• Basic understanding of AV systems: displays, projectors, audio systems, control systems, videoconferencing, digital signage.

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

• AV industry experience is essential.
