Saipem, a global leader in engineering and energy infrastructure, is seeking a Junior Accountant (UAE National) to support its financial operations in Abu Dhabi. This role involves financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and project accounting, ensuring the company’s financial processes align with regulations and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

📊 Financial Management & Reporting: Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
📈 Budgeting & Cost Control: Assist in project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
💰 Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process vendor invoices and payments, track accounts receivables, and reconcile supplier accounts.
📑 Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax laws (VAT, corporate tax, etc.), assist in audit preparations.
🏗️ Project Accounting: Monitor financial transactions related to EPC projects, allocate costs across project phases, and manage cash flow.

Eligibility Criteria:

✅ Nationality: Open to UAE Nationals only.
✅ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
✅ Experience: Entry-level role; fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of experience in accounting/finance preferred.
✅ Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting principles.
✅ Software Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial software.
