Whizz HR is looking for a Junior Accountant to join a construction and marble industry company in Dubai. The role involves handling financial transactions, project-based accounting, VAT compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have experience in the construction or manufacturing sector, ensuring compliance with UAE accounting regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
• Monitor financial performance of construction and marble projects.
• Analyze project costs, budgets, and forecasts for effective cost control.
• Prepare financial reports such as income statements and balance sheets.
• Ensure VAT and tax compliance while liaising with external auditors.
• Maintain internal financial controls for accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in internal and external audits with necessary documentation.
• Manage cash flow and liaise with banks when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent is a plus).
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of project-based accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Tally, or similar accounting software.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and IFRS accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• English proficiency is required; Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in marble industry accounting and inventory management.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and cost management.
