Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research is seeking a Junior Accountant to support its financial and administrative operations. This role is ideal for candidates in the early stages of their accounting careers who are eager to gain hands-on experience in financial management, bookkeeping, and payment processing within a dynamic and mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Senior Accountant in financial management and statutory compliance.

• Process payments, invoices, checks, and wire transfers accurately.

• Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and assist in annual inventory tagging.

• Support petty cash replenishment and reconciliation of accounts.

• Ensure financial transactions are recorded correctly in the computerized accounting system.

• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on payments.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits.

• Maintain financial documentation and ensure confidentiality.

• Collaborate with purchasing and administrative teams as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or four-year diploma in Accounting or Finance.

• Strong bookkeeping skills and knowledge of financial documentation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• English proficiency (Advanced in listening & reading; Intermediate in writing & speaking).

• Arabic language skills (preferred but not required).

• High ethical standards, confidentiality, and trustworthiness.

📌 Contract: Full-time, 2-year renewable contract
📌 Work Hours: Monday-Thursday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), Friday (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
