Job Title: IT Teacher (Arabic + IELTS)

Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified IT Teacher proficient in Arabic and IELTS to join a renowned school in Al Ain, UAE. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Information Technology to Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 students (Grades 6-12) while fostering an engaging, supportive, and innovative learning environment.

Qualifications & Experience

🎓 Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is preferred.
• ADEK Appointment Letter is required.
• Minimum IELTS 7.0 Band for English proficiency.
• Proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written) is essential.

📌 Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience teaching IT at the middle and secondary school levels (Grades 6-12).
• Teaching experience in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with current IT technologies and digital tools for teaching and assessment.

Key Responsibilities

📚 Lesson Planning & Delivery

• Plan and deliver engaging IT lessons covering:
  • Computer programming
  • Digital literacy
  • Web development
  • Networking
• Use multimedia resources, interactive tools, and hands-on activities to enhance learning.
• Adapt lessons to cater to diverse student abilities in Cycle 2 and Cycle 3.
• Integrate Arabic language elements for Arabic-speaking students when necessary.

📝 Assessment & Feedback

• Regularly evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, projects, and presentations.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students enhance their IT skills.
• Prepare grade reports and communicate student performance effectively.
• Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and academic growth.

🏫 Classroom Management

• Establish a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Implement the school’s behavior management policies effectively.
• Maintain a well-organized classroom to facilitate productive learning.

📖 Curriculum Support

• Follow the school’s IT curriculum and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs.
• Provide extra support through tutoring or after-school assistance when required.
