IT Support Engineer – Infrastructure & User Support

Job Description:
A well-established company in Sharjah is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to ensure smooth IT operations across hardware, software, and network systems. This full-time position involves delivering hands-on technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and implementing basic cybersecurity protocols. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in IT support and a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-user technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues.

• Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, applications, and servers.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to reduce downtime.

• Support IT security practices and assist with data protection protocols.

• Manage IT inventory and monitor system performance.

• Assist staff with troubleshooting and provide user-friendly IT solutions.

• Collaborate with internal IT teams to enhance infrastructure reliability.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in IT support or system administration.

• ITIL V3 certification is a strong plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and IT ticketing tools.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals and system monitoring.

• Excellent communication skills, especially with non-technical users.

• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
