Job Title: Internal Control & Compliance Specialist

Job Description:

We are hiring a passionate and detail-oriented Internal Control & Compliance Specialist to join a global leader in the building materials sector, based in Dubai, UAE. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of internal processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Control & Compliance:

• Design, implement, and oversee internal controls to mitigate risks and maintain process integrity.

• Regularly assess and monitor internal control systems, reporting findings and recommending improvements.

• Collaborate with business units to correct deficiencies and strengthen control environments.

• Develop and enforce compliance policies and standard operating procedures.

Audit & Risk Management:

• Partner with internal and external auditors to address findings and drive remediation actions.

• Ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.

Training & Awareness:

• Conduct internal training sessions on compliance practices and risk management.

• Create awareness of internal control policies throughout the organization.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

• Support the implementation of company-wide HSE policies.

• Promote a safe and healthy working environment by engaging with employees, subcontractors, and visitors.

Legal & Ethical Compliance:

• Champion ethical conduct by adhering to company codes and policies such as Anti-Bribery, Conflict of Interest, and Business Conduct guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational or complex business environment.

• Professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CRMA, CCEP) are a plus.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.

• Fluent in English; Hindi and Arabic are advantageous.

• Proficient in risk-based thinking and internal control frameworks.

• High attention to detail with a solution-oriented mindset.
