Position Title: Interior & Joinery CAD Draughtsman

Employment Type: Full-Time (3-6 Month Contract, with potential for staff conversion)

About the Client:
A leading Tier 1 Main Contracting client in Dubai, specializing in high-profile new build projects, seeks experienced Interior & Joinery CAD Draughtsman to join their team for exciting retail and mall projects.

Job Description:
As an Interior & Joinery CAD Draughtsman, you will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, coordinating site measurements, and ensuring smooth project execution from concept through to final inspection. You will work closely with the design team, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate site measurements, prepare concept layout plans, and ensure client approvals.
• Create detailed technical drawings for site execution and reference, including joinery and MEP details.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant authorities (DM, DCD, JAFZA, etc.) and handle necessary permit and documentation processes.
• Support the Design Department by developing as-built drawings and preparing necessary sample forms.
• Submit drawings, sample forms, and MEP details to clients for approval.
• Manage site mobilization documents and processes and update project team on submission progress.
• Prepare and arrange documents for final inspection and hand over completed project documents to clients and authorities.
• Provide on-site support and coordinate site marking activities with the Operations Department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience as an Interior & Joinery CAD Draughtsman.
• Strong proficiency in CAD Draughting, Joinery Detailing, and technical drawing preparation.
• Previous experience with a recognized Main Contracting Company, particularly on Mall and Retail projects.
• Knowledge of local authorities and permit processes is highly preferred.

Contract Details:
This position is available for immediate joining on a 3-6 month contract with the option to transition to a staff position after 6 months, based on performance and mutual agreement.
