We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer with extensive experience in transportation and infrastructure projects to join a dynamic team as part of a major PMC assignment. This full-time role focuses on reviewing and validating interior design submissions by D&B contractors to ensure compliance with design standards, material specifications, and client vision. The role is based in the Arab region (excluding GCC countries).

You will play a critical part in the interior design review process for metro stations, airports, public buildings, and other transportation hubs, working closely with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve interior design packages and materials submitted by contractors.

• Ensure compliance with project standards, client expectations, and international codes.

• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to ensure design cohesion across disciplines.

• Provide expert input on interior finishes, materials, furnishings, and detailed construction aspects.

• Use BIM, CAD, SketchUp, 3DS Max, Foyr Neo, or other tools to evaluate and validate design submissions.

• Address and resolve design issues proactively throughout the review and construction stages.

• Conduct design audits to maintain the highest level of design quality and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in interior design with a strong portfolio in large-scale transportation projects (e.g., metro stations, airports, hospitality, public infrastructure).

• Hands-on experience with design review, material selection, detailing, and on-site coordination.

• Proficiency in BIM, CAD, and other leading design software tools.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and coordination.

• Deep knowledge of interior design materials and application standards.

• Previous experience in PMC environments is highly desirable.

• Must be based in Arab countries (outside the GCC region).
