Howden is hiring a motivated and client-focused Insurance Specialist to manage motor insurance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UAE. This full-time, on-site role involves handling policy enquiries, managing renewals, liaising with underwriters, and ensuring top-tier service delivery. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of experience in motor insurance, strong analytical skills, and a keen understanding of UAE insurance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle enquiries and quotations for general insurance policies, with a focus on motor policies for SMEs.

• Maintain strong relationships with underwriters and ensure compliance and service standards are met.

• Manage motor fleet endorsements (additions, deletions, and certificates of insurance).

• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate coverage through collaboration with the CRM.

• Generate quotations using insurer portals or direct insurer tools.

• Prepare proposals and support renewal and new business presentations.

• Manage policy renewals and documentation submissions to insurers.

• Maintain accurate placement and renewal trackers.

• Review policy documentation, validate premium and coverage terms, and ensure timely delivery to clients.

• Process initial invoice bookings and ensure compliance with KYC and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in General Insurance, specifically motor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field.

• Strong understanding of UAE insurance market, trends, and policies.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and time-management skills.

• High attention to detail and proficiency in insurance systems and portals.
