Ateca Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Information Security Analyst specializing in Incident Response to join a global IT vendor in Dubai. This role focuses on threat detection, incident handling, vulnerability management, and proactive cybersecurity response strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security events to detect, respond to, and mitigate cybersecurity threats

• Investigate and manage complex security incidents across networks, systems, and applications

• Perform in-depth threat analysis, malware investigations, and root cause analysis

• Collaborate with internal teams to address vulnerabilities and implement preventive measures

• Identify and address potential security gaps in systems and processes

• Conduct penetration testing, network forensics, and risk assessments

• Support internal and external audits and compliance requirements

• Develop and maintain incident response procedures and documentation

• Prepare technical reports and actionable recommendations for key stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on incident response

• Proficient in SIEM tools, endpoint detection, threat intelligence platforms, and vulnerability scanners

• Experience with malware analysis, phishing investigations, and intrusion detection/prevention systems

• Familiarity with industry standards like NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK framework

• Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple incidents under pressure
