Leru Partners is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join their growing security operations team within a pioneering fintech company. This hands-on role focuses on threat detection, incident response, and continuous testing of security measures to protect infrastructure, applications, and data from evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor security alerts and logs, investigate anomalies, and triage incidents using SIEM and endpoint tools.

• Root Cause Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed root cause analysis, incident reports, and post-mortem evaluations.

• Vulnerability Management: Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate periodic penetration testing exercises.

• Collaboration & Remediation: Work with DevOps and engineering teams to address security findings and implement necessary fixes.

• Security Documentation: Maintain and improve playbooks, escalation procedures, and threat intelligence feeds.

• Training & Awareness: Assist in phishing simulations, security awareness training, and internal audit support.

• Compliance & Threat Intelligence: Contribute to compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001, NIST, and local regulations. Stay updated with emerging threats and attack techniques.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: 3-5 years in security operations, incident response, or an information security role.

• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with SIEMs, EDR tools, and vulnerability scanners. Familiarity with network and cloud security (AWS/Azure), and web application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).

• Penetration Testing: Experience supporting or conducting penetration testing and red/blue team exercises.

• Scripting & Automation: Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is a plus.

• Certifications: Industry certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CompTIA Security+, or similar are highly desirable.

• Communication Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, especially in incident reporting.
