Aldar Education, a leading educational group in the UAE, is seeking an Inclusion Assistant (UAE National) for Al Rayana Charter School in Abu Dhabi. The school follows the American curriculum and is dedicated to providing high-quality, inclusive learning experiences that nurture creativity, collaboration, and leadership among students. The Inclusion Assistant will support students with special educational needs to ensure they achieve their fullest potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individual students inside and outside the classroom to help them participate in all school activities.

• Assist in implementing Individual Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress.

• Provide academic, physical, emotional, and behavioral support to students as needed.

• Prepare necessary learning resources and modify materials to meet student needs.

• Encourage independence by teaching meaningful strategies and life skills.

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling student matters.

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to enhance student learning outcomes.

• Support in maintaining student records and monitoring performance.

• Assist in implementing therapy or intervention programs (e.g., Speech, Occupational, ABA).

• Participate in training, extra-curricular activities, trips, and school events.

• Set an example in professionalism, punctuality, and conduct.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: SEN Qualification – Diploma (mandatory).

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) support.

• Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with teachers and specialists.

  • Compassionate and patient when working with children.

  • Knowledge of inclusive education practices and classroom support strategies.

  • Basic computer proficiency for recordkeeping and reporting.
