Intesa Sanpaolo, one of Europe’s top banking groups, is hiring an IMI CIB Relationship Manager in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing a portfolio of large corporate clients, ensuring profitability, risk management, and strong relationship building. The position requires expertise in corporate banking, credit risk assessment, and cross-border corporate transactions, along with excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of large corporate clients while achieving profitability, sales, and risk objectives.

• Support Global Relationship Manager (GRM) in sales strategy, budget setting, and commercial campaigns.

• Monitor client performance, identify risks, and propose corrective measures.

• Manage credit risk profiles, prepare and process credit facility proposals, and contribute to internal ratings.

• Collaborate with Investment Banking, Structured Finance, and specialist teams to support cross-selling opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, operational standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Act as key contact for Italian and multinational clients under the Branch’s responsibility.

Qualifications & Skills:

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or Law.

• 7–10 years’ experience in relationship management with large corporate clients, ideally in international banking.

• Native-level English; Italian or another MENA/European language is a plus.

• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

• Ability to analyze balance sheets and financial models.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Willingness to travel as required.
