We are seeking an IG MEET Lead Process Safety Engineer to join our team in Dubai. This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in process safety engineering for Industrial Gases Production, Packaged Gases Plants, and Customer Stations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Process Safety Engineering for IG MEET region, ensuring compliance with global standards and best practices.
• Act as a regional technical lead for introducing new technologies like H2fM, collaborating with PDO, Operational Excellence, and Global Process Safety.
• Represent IG MEET in Global Safety Committees and Communities of Practice.
• Facilitate process safety hazard reviews, prioritize facility assessments, and implement risk-based mitigation strategies.
• Conduct process hazard analysis (PHA) and risk assessments, tracking and managing recommendations.
• Provide technical advice to management, engineering, and operations teams on process safety matters.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for process safety incidents and identify preventive measures.
• Drive process safety improvements through trend analysis of incidents and near misses.
• Lead HAZOP studies for plant upgrades and approve change notices (eMOCs).
• Support new plant design and process optimization to align with commercial objectives.
• Assist in technical due diligence during acquisitions and ensure post-acquisition process safety integration.
• Collaborate with plant supervisors and managers to keep PSM (Process Safety Management) systems up to date.
• Travel across the IG MEET region as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Process Safety, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in process safety management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of PHA, MOC (Management of Change), and risk management techniques.
• Ability to identify hazards and implement mitigation strategies effectively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of mentoring teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver timely results, and maintain customer expectations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with engineering consultants, construction, and operations teams.
