GEMS Founders School in Dubai South is seeking a passionate and dynamic Computing Teacher to join their team in August 2025. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach computing concepts, including programming languages and digital tools.

• Deliver lessons ranging from basic IT skills to advanced programming and computer science.

• Engage and inspire students in the ever-evolving field of technology.

• Utilize educational technology and digital learning platforms to enhance learning experiences.

• Foster a strong understanding of critical thinking and problem-solving through computing.

• Provide effective classroom management and organization.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is preferred.

• Previous experience teaching Computing or Computer Science, ideally within an international or UK-based curriculum.

• Strong knowledge of computing concepts, programming languages, and digital tools.

• Ability to teach a broad range of computing topics, from basic IT skills to advanced subjects.

• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.

• Ability to engage and inspire students in technology.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning platforms.
