Human Resources Officer

Job Overview:

The Human Resources Officer plays a key role in managing HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves recruitment, employee engagement, policy implementation, and administrative HR support within a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate coordination, and interview scheduling.

  • Maintain and update hiring records to track recruitment progress in real time.

  • Oversee new hire documentation, employee records, and contract issuance.

  • Conduct onboarding programs to facilitate smooth integration of new employees.

  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, including visa processing, employment contracts, and documentation.

  • Implement and enforce HR policies, procedures, and SOPs aligned with pharmaceutical industry regulations.

  • Support performance management by tracking KPIs and facilitating appraisal processes.

  • Maintain attendance, leave records, and payroll inputs for accurate processing.

  • Manage HRMS software for seamless HR operations and employee data management.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.

  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs to foster a positive workplace culture.

  • Coordinate training programs and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

  • Support employee wellness initiatives, including mental health and fitness programs.

  • Assist with PRO (Public Relations Officer) tasks related to government documentation and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2–5 years in HR, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Strong understanding of UAE labor laws, HR policies, and compliance.

    • Experience in managing employee engagement programs and HR processes.

    • Proficiency in HRMS software, payroll processing, and performance management systems.

    • Prior experience in PRO support and government-related documentation is a plus.

    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
