Job Description:
Universal Rubber Belts is seeking an HSE Officer to ensure a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. The role involves implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring full regulatory compliance within an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Health, Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce HSE policies and procedures in alignment with local regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, workplace inspections, and accident investigations.
• Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety laws.

Workplace Safety & Risk Management:

• Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor and improve workplace safety practices.
• Maintain incident reports and safety performance records.

Environmental Protection & Compliance:

• Implement environmental safety programs to minimize workplace impact.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives.

Training & Employee Awareness:

• Conduct HSE training sessions and awareness programs for employees.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.

Emergency Preparedness & Response:

• Develop and implement emergency response procedures.
• Conduct drills and simulations to ensure readiness for potential workplace hazards.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• HSE certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
• Ability to enforce and improve safety policies in an industrial setting.
• Excellent training, communication, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Salary & Benefits:

• AED 6,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances).
