REN AMEA is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to ensure compliance with ENGIE Group policies, local regulations, and project-specific HSE requirements at the PV4 solar project. The role involves coordinating safety programs, monitoring contractor compliance, conducting site audits, incident investigation, and promoting a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce ENGIE HSE policies, procedures, and statutory requirements on site.

• Monitor work execution in line with HIRA, AIA, SOPs, and safety guidelines; take corrective actions as needed.

• Lead contractor HSE management, including mobilization, training, compliance verification, and performance monitoring.

• Plan, organize, and coordinate safety programs and training, including emergency drills.

• Conduct site HSE audits, identify non-conformances, and ensure closure of corrective actions.

• Record, report, and analyze HSE indicators (leading and lagging) for management reporting.

• Facilitate incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and high-potential incident tracking.

• Coordinate with stakeholders and clients regarding site HSE queries.

• Promote ENGIE 5 Safety Essentials (LSR, LMRA, Stop the Work, Incident Reporting, Shared Vigilance) on site.

• Support EOSC program implementation and ensure EPC adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ADOSH regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent), IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA 30 hrs certification.

• Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in the construction industry (renewable energy experience is a plus).

• Strong knowledge of HSE systems in construction and Abu Dhabi ADOSH regulations.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.

• Ability to influence and engage teams, contractors, and stakeholders to drive safety culture.

• Computer literate with proficiency in reporting and documentation.

• Flexible and able to work as per project requirements.
