Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer for offshore operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and ensuring regulatory compliance aboard platforms, vessels, and rigs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE management systems in accordance with offshore safety standards

• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments

• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices by all personnel

• Support emergency preparedness and participate in drills

• Maintain records of incidents, near misses, and safety observations

• Provide HSE induction and training to offshore personnel

• Liaise with Offshore HSE Supervisor and HSE Manager on safety improvements and corrective actions

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent

• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certifications (e.g., OSHA, IOSH)

• OPITO-approved BOSIET certification (mandatory for offshore work)

• Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in an offshore environment

• Strong understanding of international offshore safety standards (e.g., IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL)

• Excellent communication and reporting skills
