MASA Trading FZE is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR, Payroll & Digitalization Specialist to join its HR Department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing for UAE employees, ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and WPS requirements. This role will also lead the digital transformation of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, driving efficiency and automation.
This is a hands-on, employee-facing position requiring strong communication skills, confidentiality, and a solid understanding of HR operations, finance, and payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & Digitalization

Lead payroll automation projects, ensuring a smooth transition from manual to automated HR and payroll systems.

Collaborate with Finance, IT, and vendors to implement HRMS, payroll, and employee self-service tools.

Manage end-to-end payroll processing, reconciliation, and timely closure.

Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, company policies, and WPS.

Oversee salary disbursement, bonuses, commissions, and other pay elements.

Track and reconcile gratuity, leave salaries, and other accruals.

Review payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.

Administer benefits and deductions (insurance, loans, EOS benefits).

Monitor changes in labor laws and implement updates accordingly.

Prepare payroll journal entries and coordinate with Finance for month-end and audits.
HR Operations

Coordinate payroll-related aspects of onboarding, exits, promotions, and employee changes.

Support audits by providing accurate payroll documentation.

Manage and improve employee records and benefits administration.

Maintain up-to-date HR records in line with legal and company requirements.

Support HR policy implementation and related employee communications.

Generate and analyze HR/payroll reports (headcount, turnover, cost analysis).

Provide data-driven insights to support HR strategy and decision-making.
Mandatory Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.

8–10 years’ experience in payroll processing for medium-to-large businesses in the UAE.

Strong understanding of:

Finance and financial terms

UAE Jafza Labour Laws

Payroll integration with Microsoft Dynamics or ERP systems

EOS benefits calculation as per UAE law

High analytical, problem-solving, and accuracy skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Strong communication skills in English.
