Job Description:
IHG is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team at Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park. This role ensures top-notch cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence in housekeeping services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide room attendants in maintaining guestroom and public area cleanliness.

• Inspect guest rooms and release them into “Inspected” status.

• Ensure VIP and group arrivals are prepared to high standards.

• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of housekeeping trolleys and supplies.

• Monitor and maintain par stock levels in service areas.

• Oversee the timely cleaning of all occupied and vacant rooms.

• Report maintenance issues and follow up on guest requests.

• Ensure cleanliness of all soft furnishings, carpets, and upholstery according to schedule.

• Liaise with Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry departments for smooth operations.

• Ensure lost and found procedures are followed and documented.

• Train and supervise housekeeping team members, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations.

• Support the Housekeeping Manager in planning duty rosters and vacation schedules.

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role within a 4-star or 5-star hotel in Dubai.

• Familiarity with Opera PMS is preferred.

• Strong understanding of housekeeping operations and UAE hospitality standards.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and team management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage shifting priorities.

• Flexible to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Must be detail-oriented and committed to delivering a high level of guest service.
