GIG Gulf, part of the Gulf Insurance Group (GIG), a leading regional insurer in MENA, is seeking a Healthcare Contracting Specialist – EB for its Dubai office. This full-time, on-site role involves managing provider contracts, analyzing network performance, and driving cost-containment initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in healthcare contracting, regulatory compliance, and data analytics to enhance the provider network while supporting organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactive Provider Negotiations

Assist in negotiations with healthcare providers to establish and maintain contracts aligned with organizational objectives.

Monitor contract performance and address compliance issues.
Data Analysis
-
Use analytics to assess provider performance, cost trends, and network utilization.

Prepare and present reports on network performance and contract effectiveness to senior management.
Cost Containment
-
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the provider network.

Collaborate with operational teams to implement and track cost-containment initiatives.
Provider Inclusion
-
Coordinate the inclusion of new providers into the network, ensuring alignment with company standards.

Evaluate potential providers to determine suitability and foster relationships with existing providers.
Operational & Technical Responsibilities

Maintain strong coordination with business units to support strategic priorities.

Work with internal departments (IT, compliance, customer service) to streamline network operations.

Support technical infrastructure for managing provider data, contract information, and performance metrics.

Assist in system integrations and standardization of coding with providers according to local regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
-
2–3 years’ experience in healthcare network contracting, provider relations, or similar role.

Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement models, provider networks, and cost-containment strategies.

Knowledge of GCC regulatory service coding standards (CPT, DRG, eClaims, etc.).

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
-
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:

Advanced skills in Excel, PowerBI, or similar analytical tools.
-
CPT and ICD coding certifications.
