Role Overview:
The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental procedures on project sites. This role ensures compliance with safety regulations, promotes a culture of “Safety First,” and safeguards all personnel and site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Project HSE Plans and procedures for assigned activities.

• Conduct site risk assessments to identify hazards and determine risk levels.

• Define operational controls to eliminate or mitigate risks.

• Identify and issue required personal protective equipment (PPE) to staff.

• Monitor adherence to safety protocols and proper PPE usage.

• Track and report incidents on-site.

• Promote a culture of safety awareness across the organization.

• Conduct toolbox talks and organize HSE training for employees.

• Monitor and ensure supervisors conduct toolbox talks effectively.

• Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers and first aid boxes on-site.

• Report HSE performance and compliance to management.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.

• NEBOSH GC/IGC certification (Mandatory).

• Diploma in Safety / HSE.

• IOSH Managing Safely certification.

• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and safety standards.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of enforcing safety policies.

• Immediate joiners preferred.
