PayPal is looking for a Head of Government Relations for the Middle East & Africa (MEA) to support its business objectives by developing and implementing a Government Relations strategy. The role involves policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory analysis in areas such as payments, digital finance, and financial inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

📢 Monitor & Advise: Identify regulatory risks and policy trends impacting PayPal’s business in MEA.
🤝 Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with government entities and industry partners.
📝 Advocacy & Thought Leadership: Create position papers, briefings, and consultation responses.
🏛️ Industry & Government Relations: Represent PayPal at meetings, industry events, and trade associations.
📈 Strategic Collaboration: Work with Global Markets & GR leaders to align policy strategies.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in government relations, public policy, or regulatory affairs.
🎓 Strong knowledge of financial regulations, payments, fintech, and digital assets.
🗣️ Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
⚖️ Ability to analyze and interpret regulatory frameworks across MEA.
🌍 Experience working in multinational corporations, regulatory bodies, or trade associations is a plus.
