Job Title: Head of Data Science & AI Products

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly technical and strategic leader to drive AI product innovation while leading a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and AI specialists. The Head of Data Science & AI Products will be responsible for the end-to-end development, commercialization, and monetization of AI and data-driven products. This role requires a strong technical background, business acumen, and product management expertise to create impactful AI solutions.

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, ML engineers, and AI specialists.

🤖 AI Product Strategy & Development

• Identify opportunities for new AI-driven products or features based on customer insights and industry trends.
• Own the entire product lifecycle from ideation to deployment, prioritizing high-impact initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure smooth development and go-to-market execution.

💰 Business Case & Monetization

• Develop compelling business cases for AI products, showcasing their value, revenue potential, and scalability.
• Establish and track KPIs and revenue targets to ensure AI products meet or exceed business goals.
• Define pricing strategies and revenue models in collaboration with finance and sales teams.
• Maintain and prioritize the AI product backlog based on customer and market needs.

📈 Go-to-Market & Sales Enablement

• Work with sales and marketing teams to create effective GTM strategies for AI products.
• Provide technical expertise, product training, and sales support to drive product adoption.
• Engage with key customers to gather feedback and refine AI solutions for enhanced market fit.
• Lead AI product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to showcase capabilities.

📊 Revenue & Performance Metrics

• Own the revenue performance of AI products, tracking their market success against KPIs.
• Analyze market trends and user feedback to continuously enhance AI products.
• Develop strategic initiatives to expand AI product offerings and increase monetization potential.

🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

• Act as the key point of contact for all Data Science and AI product initiatives.
• Report regularly to senior leadership on product development, performance, and strategic initiatives.
• Work closely with technology, sales, and marketing leaders to ensure seamless execution of AI strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

🧠 Technical Expertise

• Extensive experience in Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning, with a deep understanding of algorithms, predictive modeling, deep learning, and NLP.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other AI/ML tools.
• Proven track record in developing scalable AI-powered products.

📦 Product Management & Business Acumen

• Experience in leading AI product development from concept to commercialization.
• Strong understanding of business strategy, monetization, and market dynamics.
• Expertise in product lifecycle management, roadmaps, feature prioritization, and backlog management.
• Experience in driving revenue growth and managing AI product business metrics.

👥 Leadership & Collaboration

• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working with engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.

Preferred Experience:

• 10-12+ years in Data Science & AI, with 3+ years in a leadership/product management role.
• Proven experience in building and launching successful AI/ML products.
• Strong startup experience with exposure to business acumen in the retail sector.
